Would like to know what year transmissions will interchange with my 97 and my 2002, my junk yard says 96 and 97 only and 2002 by it's self because of electronics. I have never heard of any differences between the 4l60e for a v6 compared to a v8. Stay away from that 96, it is junk. Be certain that the transmission in 97 will mount to the 95.
